So ever driven down San Francisco’s most crooked street (Lombard street)? I’m sure you have, but I bet you haven’t gone down it on a plastic Big Wheel! Ya, that’s the idea behind San Francisco’s Easter Day tradition, BYOBW (Bring Your Own Big Wheel), where basically people in crazy costumes take modded out Big Wheels down the swerving road and run into everything and anyone in their path. So, in the pursuit of creativity **standing on my soap box** I searched out this event to continue my never ending quest to find those characters in life that add spice to the mundanity in the world, just like Zazzle strives to accomplish on the net…
What’s the event like? Imagine the characters from cartoons you watched as a kid, riding your old Big Wheel (I know you had one) and acting just as looney as Major Kang riding the Atomic Bomb (except here, substitute atomic explosion for explosive laughing! …oh yeah, that was a good one). The winner? Well, there isn’t really a winner; I guess if you finish with all your wheels you win…?
It kinda makes me wonder if other cities have as much fun as SF, or if they just watch reruns of Perry Mason. Let me know what events are in your area and then maybe I can go to them and stay at your house, I have lots of stories and can cook a pork tenderloin like nobody’s business.

Next year you can come out and do it with me, I plan to strap a camera to the top of my head next year to get some really good perspective footage….
