August 31, 2007The Free Photoshop
August 31, 2007Well, no, it’s not exactly Photoshop but it ain’t chopped liver, either. Paint.net is a totally FREE application that boasts many of the same features as Photoshop, such as the pen tool, layers, unlimited undo (oh man, do I use that a lot), red eye removal, embossing, and more. You can read about all the rest of the features at the getpaint.net website.
You want a cherry on top? It’s open source! (You don’t know what that means?!) Essentially that means developers all over the world freely make additions to the application in order to make it better. So the older the application gets, the more powerful and useful it becomes… not bad for something that costs about the same as mom’s hugs (they’re free silly!).
So, I wanted to share this great application because it can really help anybody create work for Zazzle and the rest of the world. I’ve been using it for awhile now and really love it, so check it out.
Hmm… stalking via Zazzle?
August 27, 2007File this story under “interesting uses of Zazzle”….
One of our friends – Noah of www.okdork.com fame, was anonymously sent a shirt that says “I stink” via Zazzle. It came anonymously – no gift note, no sender information at all. Is this the new way to send a private and very direct message?
Strap on your detective rain coat and break out the magnifying glass and pipe it’s Sherlockin’ time. If you have any information about who thinks Noah stinks, let us know. And if it was you, come out and say it to Noah’s face – he’d appreciate it.
“Graphic Content” T-Shirt Art Show – See you there!
August 24, 2007
I know, I know… it’s a little late notice, but I just wanted to see if anyone wanted to go to the “Graphic Content” art show tonight (continues through the 27th) in San Francisco, CA. It’s a show where artists submit pieces of art, but the “pieces” are shirts (does this sound like Zazzle to anyone else?). Wanna go? Meet me there at 7pm, the show goes late…
What’s cool is to see all the interesting ways people use t-shirts as a new art medium. Artists at this show do crazy things like add beads, LED light shows, and much more to the shirts… stuff that we dream about adding to Zazzle
So anyways, come to the show and introduce yourself to me, I love to meet members of the Zazzle community!
