My first post!! I’m Joyce, I work with Music and Entertainment partners at Zazzle. The Z and Artsprojekt were stoked to participate in SXSW 2009 with our partners at Paste Magazine.
SXSW 2009 was a good ole time. The bands were as always fanastic, and despite the recession woes coupled with the lovely flu funk which seemingly spread from the Film to Interactive into the Music festivals, SXSW 2009 was an amazing event. Zazzle and Artsprojekt, along with our friends at Edun Live, sponsored the now annual Paste Magazine party featuring M Ward, Amanda Palmer, Passion Pit, my new favorites The Heartless Bastards, and many others. With the recent closure of Blender, it is pretty compelling to work with a great music magazine that continues to grow its subscription base and business model. Zazzle hosts the Paste store, and if you haven’t already checked out the Obamicon.Me program, you are definitely missing out. Check out the posters below that we created for the participating bands.
As you can see in these photos below, the Paste event featured a line as far as the eye could see, and I didn’t even takes these shots at its peak! Other Zazzle artists that participated at SXSW this year include: Solange Knowles, Shwayze, Tony Williams with GOOD Music event starring Kanye West, and even comedian Margaret Cho.
