Father’s Day is quick approaching and that got me thinking about dads, more specifically Darth Vader (isn’t that the first person you think about when someone says dad?). I was thinking, as a dad, he wasn’t really that bad a guy. I mean sure he tried to kill his only children and in the process cut off the hand of his son BUT in the end he did turn out to be a nice guy and all. So what do you guys think? Was Vader a good dad or not so good dad?

We all have our flaws. Some bigger than others. At the end of the day, Vader was a good dad – he gave his life for his son. almost biblical. furthermore, he finally reconciled with his son, and that is the important thing. Vader = bad man, but good father.

yeah me and a friend had this coversation…still the guy did murder a tribe of sand people needlessly and slaughtered jedi children…how you reconcile that is anybodys guess…still though..COOL SHIRT!!
