Seller Wednesday Seller Lenses

by

It’s Seller Wednesday!  This week we’re focusing on a fun way to share your store – a Squidoo lens!  Squidoo is a great and easy tool to create mini sites that drive traffic and interest to your store.  Many Zazzlers already use lenses, but if you don’t then see below to learn how to set one up (it’s easy!).

Seller Lenses:

First step: Go here – http://www.squidoo.com/zazzle/hq

2nd step: Enter your Gallery Handle, a description of your art, choose what category best suits what type of page you’re making, and pick keywords that are relevant (similar to tags you use for products on Zazzle).  There’s also a bonus section where you can link to your personal website/blog!

3rd Step: Once you’ve entered all the info from step 2, click on the “Make my Promo Page” button.  It will take you to a preview page, where you can get a basic idea of how your lens is going to look.

If you like it, click the “I want it (and will personalize it now) button on the right hand side of the page underneath the orange flower.

4th Step:  Choose your URL. It’s important to note that once you chose the URL for your lens it cannot be changed, so choose wisely!  Once you find the perfect name, hit continue.

5th Step:  Here you’ll go through and register (pick out a screen name, etc), if you don’t already have a Squidoo account.

Final Step: After you enter in all your info, it will take you to your Squidoo page, where you can add a picture and edit the content (you can preview your lens to get it just the way you like it).  Once your page looks as fabulous as you want it to, click “Publish” at the top of the page and viola!!

All done?  Share your lenses and Squidoo marketing ideas in the comments below, and we’ll post the best lenses on the blog! If you send it via Twitter, be sure to include #SellerWed in your tweet. Or leave us a note on our Facebook wall. Be sure to include your store lens link when you send us your lens, so we can link to your store as well!!

    Yep,
Squidoo is a great way to create mini-sites to your Zazzle store!
You could provide more information on your store, your product lines and your special products, thru your lens.
Squidoo lenses get indexed by Google and there is also a large number of internet users who use Squidoo.
Also there are lots of interesting features you can implement on your lens, like polls and link lists, to make the interaction for the prospective customers more interesting.

    I’ve my lens at http://www.squidoo.com/renascencepub
and my store is at http://www.zazzle.com/renascencepub

IFor those of you who create cupcake related products at their Zazzle Gallery I have a unique Squidoo.com opportunity for them. I run the new SquidClub , The Cupcake Club, where all of the cupcake lenses are linked together and I write a blog and keep a Facebook page and Twitter account where I promote all of the lenses created for the club.

You can start your own Cupcake club lens by visiting Cupcake Club Headquarters here: http://www.squidoo.com/cupcakeclub/hq and clicking on “Make a Page”

Or learn more about the club and see a real-time video on how to create a Cupcake Club page by visiting here: http://www.squidoo.com/the-cupcake-club-on-squidoo

If you have any questions you can contact me via this lens also.

These are great step-by-step instructions to help anyone make a Squidoo lens (page) about their Zazzle products. I feature Zazzle products frequently on my Squidoo lenses although I don’t have a Zazzle store or many of my own designs, yet. I’m just so busy making webpages on Squidoo that I cannot find time to learn Zazzle, but I will…in the past few months I’ve made a page dedicated to I Love Cookies t-shirts from Zazzle and this week I created a page called How To Have A Star Studded Children’s Movie Themed Birthday Party which features Zazzle movie invitations. Squidoo is certainly a good place to work on promoting your Zazzle products.

Wonderful. I have many lenses about my Zazzle shop. This is my main one, but needs to be updated. http://www.squidoo.com/sandyspider-zazzle-gallery

I have one about what sells on Zazzle and would love to get as much participation from Zazzlers who want to share their products that sell and their shop on

Squidoo lenses are a wonderful way to promote your Zazzle products. On my Squidoo lenses I often feature my own Zazzle products as well as those of other Zazzle sellers. There is always a Zazzle product to go with topic you are writing about. If I haven’t made it, it’s a sure bet that someone else has! Zazzle makes it so easy to share products on Squidoo.

Squidoo is helpful for promoting all types of Zazzle products, but currently my lens selling blue hydrangeas for weddings is driving lots of traffic my way.

Squidoo recently added sidebar widgets (which I love) for linking blogs, more lenses, Facebook & Amazon modules.

I have not set up a lens yet, but have been featured on some. This gives me the inspiration to do it (when I’m not drawing!). Thank you for this link and tutorial! :-) Laura

Thanks for this! Just what I was looking for to create a Squidoo lens showcase for my Zazzle powered shop! Great info.

For those who have not done it yet, this info will have your Squidoo lens up in no time! Then you can expand it. It’s not as time consuming or difficult as you might think.

    Thanks Zazzle people! :)
