I have found that people shop for Christmas items ALL year long – so why wait until the fall to begin promoting or designing them? It’s been really hot this summer and to have a little “cool” winter fun I’ve been in Christmas mode for a few weeks now already, designing, organizing the shop, blogging the new goodies (just blogged a new Christmas post today, in fact). Especially for those planning Christmas parties, your Christmas party invitations and address labels should be in your shops NOW. :o)

There is a rule in photography called “The Kiss Rule”
It means “Keep It Simple Stupid” a not so gentle remider that simplicity is a beautiful thing!
Thats what I try to do with design. Keep it simple, clean & elegant. Keyword, keyword, keyword!
Then link all my products together.

Some great designs here for the holidays! I get excited about putting out some new holiday designs on my own site.

A comment about the cards: does anyone else find that they are hard to write on? I used some of my own Christmas cards last year, and had a hard time writing on the cardstock used to make the cards … couldn’t we have the cards on easy-to-write-on cardstock????

  11. Aline Says:

I have already begun creating some Christmas products and I believe the sooner we create and display the better it is. My tip is as soon
as you create something, advertise it as soon as possible.
