I’m not sure I understand how I can enter the contest and/or receive votes without using Facebook. Could you please explain this to me? I’d really like to enter your contests, but I refuse to go to Facebook for anything. I used to do Facebook until all the security breaches and I canceled my account. However, Facebook informed me that all I had to do to reactivate my account was to visit Facebook again. And Facebook has been sending me lots of emails trying to trick me into doing just that. I would never expose any of my friends to Facebook for the same reason. So, please, for those of us who value our privacy, provide us with an alternate entry and voting method. Or better yet, don’t make this a popularity contest, but a contest of true talent.

If you are worried about security issues, you just need to make sure that your Facebook profile has all of the security settings completely locked down for anyone that is not your friend. If this still doesn’t work for you, you can always create a new Facebook account with little to no information in it and just use it for these contests and other things like that. Hope that helps a little. Also, this is a great way to get exposure for your artwork from people who new to Zazzle which allows you to market your products to a whole new group of people and increase your sales!

I’ve been very critical lately of the Facebook issue and the fact that the competitions are a popularity contest. (Can you tell I wasn’t that popular in school? LOL) But I don’t want you to get the wrong impression of me; I love Zazzle and all the great things they do for us creative types who have few other ways to express that creativity. I will continue to create products on Zazzle and be thankful for the opportunity. Merry Christmas, everyone.
