People love taking pictures of themselves. Recently, people have found an interesting, almost bizarre way to take this to another level. For those of you who are not familiar with this emerging photo trend, owling involves getting your picture taken in a perched position as if mimicking an owl.

According to Google Insights, “owling” has recently become much more interesting than “standing up”.
