It’s Earth Day and the holiday has come a long way since its beginnings as a grassroots demonstration exactly 43 years ago. While a common way to celebrate is to plant new trees, Earth Day Network (EDN) (the organizers of Earth Day rallies and activities) have focused on a larger environmental issue and themed this Earth Day: “The Face of Climate Change.”
