Today, we are happy to announce the November Associate Tier Challenge, in which we’ll be offering giveaways to all Zazzle associates who reach the threshold of 50, 100, and 150 referrals during the month. It’s go time! Start by prepping your most recent designs, and updating your blogs, links, and feeds (see the end of the post for recent RSS feed changes).
Let’s get motivated and shoot for the stars – together we can make this month a success! The goal of the challenge is simple: earn as many referrals as you can between November 1st, 2014 and November 30th, 2014. All Zazzle associates are welcome to participate – if you have a Zazzle referral ID, you’re invited to join in! Find your ID here to get started. Qualifying referrals include referrals earned on orders for products placed between November 1st, 2014 12:00 A.M. through November 30th, 2014 11:59 P.M. except for any orders that were cancelled or products that were returned.
Three’s a crowd, and we’ve grouped the giveaways into three tiers so everyone will have a chance to participate! Two makes for good company too, and the top two associates from each tier will then be featured on a special blog post on December 12th, 2014.
Tier 1: 150+ referrals = $50 Zazzle credit*
Tier 2: 100-150 referrals = $25 Zazzle credit*
Tier 3: 50-100 referrals = $10 Zazzle credit*
*We’ll deposit this amount in your Zazzle account, to be used against future Zazzle products. The credits cannot be redeemed for cash.
Let’s get motivated and shoot for the stars – together we can make this month a success!
Have you switched over your RSS feed to the new department format? If you haven’t yet, this is the best time to look through your feed and update your code from the product type parameter to the department parameter.
The pt (or product parameter) is no longer functional, so if you have any links containing “pt=” you will need to switch it to “dp=” and add the department ID.
For example, the kid’s clothing department ID is 252274334343257247 and you can see it when you search for kid’s clothing on Zazzle in the left-hand navigation.
If you have any code containing product type, you will need to switch to department ID.
$_GET[‘productType’] = ‘235’ would change to $_GET[‘department1id’] = ‘252095125266653584’
This option has worked for some users as well:
Also, please remember to update any links that include a product type. For example, if you’d like to link to a certain product type in your store, please remember to add the department ID to the end of your link.
For example, if you’d like to link to men’s t-shirts in the LilyasSpace store, your link would look like this
Have questions or need a list of current departments? Please leave a comment on this blog post and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
