Tell us about yourself! What do you do at Zazzle?
I grew up in the Bay Area and got my BA degree at San Francisco State University in Broadcast and Electronic Communication Arts. I work in the Customer Service Department here at Zazzle, where I assist customers through e-mail and phone with their orders, design help, returns, refunds, replacements, account credits, seller/design inquires, etc. I’m also on our Social Media team, where we work with customers who have reached out to us either from Facebook, Twitter, and other 3rd party sites. I reach out to these customers with their inquiries and assist them.
What are your hobbies?
I love going to concerts and watching live shows. I love all genres of music, so I’ve been to a lot of different types of concerts. I’ve been to a lot of concerts anywhere from old school R&B such as Boyz II Men and Brian McKnight, country/pop like Taylor Swift, Glee concert, K-pop in LA to see boy band Big Bang, and EDM where I saw Zedd perform live in Las Vegas. And those are just to name a few.
What’s an interesting fact about you?
I lived in Los Angeles for 2 years, where I worked in the Entertainment industry with film and television.
What is your favorite Zazzle product, and why?
My favorite Zazzle products are the Doodle speakers and frosted mug. The speaker’s sound came out a lot better than I had expected considering its size. And I bought a frosted mug for my boyfriend, which he loves and uses all the time for his coffee. The colors on that came out great, and it’s just such a unique product.
What’s your favorite aspect of your job?
My favorite aspect is talking to different people from all over the world. Every day, I learn something new about a place and hear a new accent or voice. Since part of my major is Communications, I like talking to a variety of people and hearing their stories. And when they are happy, it makes my job a lot easier.
