A blanket can serve several purposes while traveling. Pack one in your carry-on for the plane ride and add it to your hotel or Airbnb bedding if what’s provided just isn’t cutting it. You can also bring it along on your morning hike and spread it out on the ground to create a picnic area, perfect for sipping coffee in your travel mug or eating a light breakfast. In the evenings, take it to the balcony or patio while you take in the view.
