Announcing the Holiday Card Collection Design Challenge

By • 3 years ago with 14 replies already

Designers, ’tis the season – for showing off all of your best card designs in preparation for sending holiday cheer with the 2015 Holiday Card Design Contest!

Here’s what to do:

  • Create a suite of coordinating products on Zazzle.com featuring your best designs for holiday sendables. You can include as many different matching products as you’d like, but you must design these 4 coordinating product types in order to enter:
  • Create a Collection including these 4 coordinating products. Once your Collection is created, add the special tag “2015CardContest” (all one word) to enter. Do this by navigating to your Collections, clicking “Edit” for the appropriate Collection, and entering “2015CardContest” in the tag section. Don’t forget to hit “Done” to save!
  • That’s it! As long as you have at least the 4 required products above and have used the tag for your Collection, your Collection will be considered entered into our challenge. Feel free to add more coordinating designs to fill out your Collection as you’d like!

    1. Yes, this contest is open to all Designers! You must be 18 or over, and you must publish on our main Zazzle.com domain for your entries, but Designer location is not a factor for this contest. Please join in!

  1. Withe my account at the UK site, I’m (and probably all others who have non-USA sites) always behind with new products. Annoncemets come from USA but can we really participate, e.g. in UK?

    1. Hi,

We announce our new products on our forums every Friday! This is available to everyone, regardless of location. Some new products are not immediately available on our international domains, but you are always welcome to publish any new products on our main site at Zazzle.com. Check our News forum for more info!

      Thanks!
      Liz

  2. Check the official terms and conditions. They say that a Canadian can win, so maybe someone in the UK can win too, if it’s not prohibited by law. You can log in to the .com site the same way you log into the .co.uk site. I’m not the final word, but I didn’t see a rule limiting it to USA at all. Check it out and email social@zazzle.com if you still have questions. Good luck!

    1. Correct! Our Terms and Conditions do not exclude international designers. You must be 18 or over to enter, and submissions must be published on our main domain, Zazzle.com. Please join in!

  3. Hi there, for the 4 coordinating product types in order to enter for the contest, it’s holiday theme but the second section: Create a Collection, does it also have to be holiday theme or any?

    1. Hi Crystal,

These are steps to follow to create a Collection that you will submit to the contest, so the products and the Collection are the same thing! You will be creating 4 or more coordinating holiday products, and then putting those products into a Collection which you will add the tag to in order to enter. So, yes, your products should be holiday themed, and be coordinating so they make sense in your Collection 🙂

      Hope that helps!
      Liz

  4. Hi! Does the “2015CardContest” tag need to be added to each product piece or just under the Collection Tag area?

  5. Just edited the other tags on my submitted Collection, and now it doesn’t show up on the Collections page. Editing other tags doesn’t reset the timestamp of all the tags, right? Will it still be included for consideration? Kicking myself for making minor changes to the other tags… Thanks!
