fuZE Visualization: Better Than Ever!

By • 6 years ago with no replies yet

We’re always looking to improve our technologies, so we’re excited to share an update that recently launched on Zazzle!

After receiving some great feedback from our Designers on the fuZe design tool for uniquely-printed products like gym bags, and we’ve been working hard on improving the experience for Designers and customers.

Let’s start by taking a look at how text appears on our drawstring backpack! Since it’s almost Halloween, I wrote “Trick or Treat! Give me something good to eat.”

This is the actual print file that is generated by our system and sent to the Maker.

Previously, the fuZe design tool would show the words all connected and even though the colors do match very closely in the resulting physical products, we wanted to make sure our on-site experience is just as appealing as the finished bag.

With a lot of work, we’ve been able to update the product view on our site to show exactly what customers are getting! If you previously designed on a fuZe bag, feel free to take a look at your designs to see this update in action as all designs have already been updated. Here’s an example of what you’ll see now:

Many of our products are printed before the final product is assmebled, but the fuZe process is different. This process involves adding designs to finished products. The huge benefit of this process is that it allows us to partner with amazing brands such as Nike, American Apparel, and BAGGU. However, because this process is so unique from many of our other custom products, the design process also needs to be unique. We need you, the Designers, to be aware of the limitations and best practices when you are designing products using this printing process. When designing for fuZe, it’s best to use fuZe-friendly shapes that are simple and bold, such as circles, hearts, triangles, etc.

Monograms and other easily personalizable designs without a high level of detail typically work best for fuZe. Here are all of the products you can currently design using fuZe:

At Zazzle, there’s no limit to where your imagination can take you. And we’re just getting started! Zazzle is revolutionizing the custom world and its printing process, and we’re glad you are a part of it.

So what are you waiting for? Happy designing!
