Squad Goals

I want to assemble a team. This team has to be talented enough to achieve its goals in the face of impossible odds, but expendable in the event they fail. It needs to be filled with members who are tough, rugged, and not afraid to get their hands dirty. I need to be able to control every member so that they work the way I want them to, when I want them to
I need a team full of criminals.
Task Force X, as I call it, will be composed of the worst of the worst: prisoners from Blackgate and Belle Reve, people we have locked up because of their dangerous proclivities and, in some cases, extraordinary powers.
I have several candidates ready for your approval. Here are their dossiers:
Real Name: Harleen Frances Quinzel
Code Name: Harley Quinn
A former psychologist at Arkham Asylum, Quinzel was corrupted by her close contact with the Joker. She is crafty and skilled, even when separated from her precious “Mr. J,” so we have to be careful. She’s just as dangerous with a baseball bat as she is with a gun.
Real Name: Floyd Lawton
Code Name: Deadshot
Watch out if Deadshot accepts a contract with your name attached. He is one of the world’s deadliest assassins. Rumor has it that he has a death wish, which makes him the perfect candidate for Task Force X.
Real Name: Waylon Jones
Code Name: Killer Croc
Struck with a form of atavism that gives him the appearance of a reptile, Jones started off as a sideshow wrestler until he broadened his scope to becoming the kingpin of Gotham crime. He has been known to harbor cannibalistic tendencies, so you should keep your distance whenever possible.
Real Name: Chato Santana
Code Name: El Diablo
A pyrokenetic, you have to keep Santana submerged in water to tame his fiery personality. A former gang member, El Diablo is no stranger to violence. His powers will be a great addition to the team.
Real Name: George “Digger” Harkness
Code Name: Captain Boomerang
Harkness trained himself to make fantastic boomerangs from a young age, and even worked as for a toy company as a performer. When audiences refused to take a liking to his talents, Harkness turned to a life of crime. Don’t let the nature of his weapons fool you: Boomerang is a dangerous person and should be treated as such.
This is Task Force X. Our very own suicide squad. Any questions?
I don’t understand why people glamorize violence so much. I, for one, am opposed to what you are doing here. Our media has brainwashed us into feeling and believing that violence is a good thing. It is not!
I just wanted the chance to express how I feel.
Thank you for hearing me out!
Interesting…So where do you go from here with Task Force X?? A video game or a comic book??
