It’s the end of the year and a great time to reflect on both learnings and earnings. We thought it would be fun to show you the top 10 designs in terms of units sold for the past year.
Invitations (specifically save the date and thank you cards) and business cards were top sellers, which makes sense in terms of volume! It’s always fun to see what designs our customers are gravitating towards.
Simple white text with a plain image was king. The aesthetic was simple and clean, but also modern and whimsical with the fun font.
The foil effect was a top hit, but customers are often disappointed when they receive the final product isn’t real foil. We are working hard to be able to offer real foil next year… so stay tuned! J
Business cards were a top hit. Simple modern to use templates are always a big hit!
Similar to the Save the Date cards above, this modern Christmas card proved to be a big hit. The model/photo you choose as a background to your template also has a huge impact on click-through-rate.
For the second year in a row, mason jars have been trending high! Pinterest would be proud.
Simple and clean, but oh so classic!
Did we mention mason jars were a big hit?
Our customers like customization and simple to use templates, and we’ve been working hard on our end to make it even more simple for them, but it’s up to you guys as designers to make sure it’s easy for the customers to know your designs are customizable as well. We’ve stressed the importance of templates, but if we haven’t convinced you, then hopefully the numbers will. 100% of the top 10 designs were simple to use templates.
Now that you’ve seen the top designs for this year, what are you planning on designing for next year?
