Back to School: 8 Must-Have Student School Supplies

By • 2 years ago with no replies yet

I don’t have children of my own, but I do have two godsons and two goddaughters. Three of them are old enough to attend school, and both my wife and I like to help out with purchasing school supplies. I’m not a huge fan of shopping, and each year the prospect of trying to beat the rush of parents to the store to pick up pens, pencils, backpacks, lunchboxes, and all the other school supplies taxes me.

Luckily, we can hop on Zazzle and design personalized supplies for each godchild, without the hassle of elbowing someone else for the last pack of markers. We have a couple of must-have student school supplies we get them each year, all of which you can find in our marketplace. Let’s take a look at eight must-have school supplies for students!

Pencil Cases

An ideal way for younger children to carry a pen and pencil to class, as well as a few backups. Older students, however, can hold more than just pencils in these cases. Our pencil cases can hold markers, highlighters, pens, colored pencils, sharpeners, scissors, and erasers too.

Where can students keep track of the class handouts, syllabi, presentation notes, and group work they’ll receive during the school year? Our folders provide an elegant solution with two 4” pockets.

A catch-all place for your child to hold classroom notes, homework, essay outlines, and more. Younger students will only need one binder, while older kids may want one for each of their different subjects. You can choose from three different sizes:

  • 1” – Holds up to 275 pages of loose leaf paper
  • 5” – Holds up to 400 pages of loose leaf paper
  • 2” – Holds up to 540 pages of loose leaf paper

If a binder is too intrusive and burdensome to carry around, a sleek notebook will do the trick. Just like our binders, you can personalize them for multiple subjects like math, biology, language arts, and more.

Lunch Boxes

No one wants a squished sandwich, or a backpack full of juice. Keep lunch separate from homework and school books with a custom lunch box. Each lunch box has three separate compartments: one for your child’s sandwich, and two more for other snacks. It also comes with an ice pack to keep their meal fresh until lunch time!

USB Flash Drives

A back-to-school supply for older students, USB flash drives make carrying work easier for high school and college students. You can choose from many different storage capacities:

  • 8 GB
  • 16 GB
  • 32 GB
  • 64 GB
  • 128 GB

Laptop & Tablet Sleeves

As your children get older, they’ll want to move from loose leaf paper to laptops and tablets for taking notes and getting work done for class. They’ll need a sleeve for maximum protection as they lug their laptop or tablet from class to class. We carry a couple of different sizes:

  • 10” Laptop
  • 13”-14” Laptop
  • 15” Laptop
  • iPad
  • 11” MacBook Air
  • 13” MacBook Air
  • 13” MacBook Pro
  • 15” MacBook Pro

Without a backpack, your kids would have to carry all of their school supplies in their arms. Yeah, I wouldn’t want to do that either. We have a couple of different backpack brands: the first four brands, Nike, American Apparel, Slazenger, and High Sierra, offer a circular design area you can personalize for your children, while the Boldface backpack offers a customizable face that attaches to the bag.
