Get Inspired with Zazzle’s Instagram Feed!

In my private life, I like to write short stories and plays. Often, people will ask, “Where do your ideas come from, Jamar?” It’s not a question I like to answer. Not because I want to play coy, or because I don’t have an answer — it’s because my reply never satisfies the person who asks.

My answer is always this: my ideas come from everywhere.

I’ve had ideas pop up from watching a game show, from hearing a snatch of conversation, from a line in a poem, or from staring off into space on my morning commute. (Don’t worry, I ride the bus. I would never stare off into space while driving a car). My inspiration comes from everywhere.

And it’s clear looking at all the designs across Zazzle, that you designers get your inspiration from everywhere too. That inspiration should be shared with as many people as possible.

We know, as Zazzle designers, you do everything you can to market yourself through blog posts, social media accounts, and word-of-mouth. We promote your designs through our Instagram feed, to inspire customers to check out your Zazzle stores and designs.

Zazzle’s Instagram Feed

Ah, Instagram! You’ll find pictures of concerts, barbeques, sunrises, sunsets, pets, babies…it might be easier to list what you won’t find. Our Instagram feed is full of inspirational images thanks to you, our amazing designers. For those of you unfamiliar with how we populate our feed, here’s how it works:

  • Many of you post images on your accounts and tag the photos with #zazzle
  • We sift through the images daily and request permission from you to repost the photos on our account
  • We give attribution to your account so our followers can check out the rest of your photographs and designs

Sounds easy, right? Well, now it’s time to take that beautiful picture. It can’t be just any picture, though. Just like your designs, the photo you take should also be inspirational. Did you put your design on a t-shirt or a pair of leggings? Have someone model it. Perhaps you have a fantastic water bottle design. Take a photo of someone drinking out of the water bottle during a spin class.

We all test drive cars before we buy them. Show off pictures of someone “test driving” your design on a Zazzle product to inspire them to buy!

Ready to go? We know you are! Your designs deserve visibility, and we want to help. Get out your camera or smartphone, and cull through your best designs and start snapping those photos. We can’t wait to see them!

Like it. Love it. Share it.
