DIY: How to Hang Prints with Binder Clips

By • 5 months ago with no replies yet

I love decorating my loft with photo prints and colorful artwork, but framing posters and art pieces can be really expensive. Luckily, while visiting a friend’s apartment, she shared with me this clever idea – hanging prints with binder clips! These unassuming office supplies eliminate the need to nail into walls, keep posters in perfect condition, and are extremely affordable. If you’d like to give this a try with your wall décor, check out how with these simple steps below.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  1. o   Zazzle Custom Posters
  2. o   Binder Clips
  3. o   Push Pins or Map Tacks

 Here’s how you do it:

1.      Attach two binder clips to the top corners of your poster or print. Next, with the binder clips attached, hold your piece against a wall where you’d like it to hang. Once leveled, add a push pin or map tack to each side so that the binder clip can hang from it.

2.      Then, attach two additional binder clips to the bottom corners of your piece. Similarly to the instructions above, add a push pin or map tack to the wall on each side so that the binder clip is secure and the poster is slightly taut.

It’s that simple!

This style of poster display looks great in home offices, dorm rooms, and creative spaces.
