Tell us about yourself!
I grew up in California. I have been living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest for many years now. I love the beauty of nature so when I am not designing, I love to get out and enjoy the great outdoors.
Tell us about the space where you do your work.
I have a home office dedicated to designing. It allows me to have a quiet space to concentrate on creativity.
What is your background in art/design? What got you started creating?
I’ve been creating in one way or another since I was a child. As an adult, I spent quite a bit of time doing web design. I later moved on to create games for the iPhone. Creating games helped me really hone my skills with computer graphic programs. Several years ago, my husband and I owned a photography and design studio in Los Angeles. We specialized in publicity photos & promotional items for actors, models, and musicians. It was then that I really sharpened my design skills when it came to photo editing and typography.
Where do you find inspiration for your designs?
I find inspiration in the special events that happen in people’s lives. Weddings, new babies, graduations…
When do you feel the most creative? Your least?
I feel most creative in the mornings. I wake up, pour myself a cup of coffee, watch the sunrise and then start designing. I don’t think there really is a time when I am not thinking creatively; my mind is always thinking of new ideas.

I put a lot of care and attention to the details into my designs because I know that the customer is purchasing it for a special day in their life. I want to help them create a happy memory.
If you could wish for one new product on Zazzle, what would it be and why?
I would love to see pocket-style wedding invitation card kits available that can be edited by designers and that customers can personalize.
What was the very first Zazzle product that you sold?
A funny T-shirt. I was still learning how to use the design tool so I put some simple things up. I was thrilled when one of my creations sold!
